📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Manager for Onboarding at Kraken, you will lead the strategy and execution of seamless, engaging client journeys that drive activation and adoption across consumer, business, and institutional segments, directly impacting Kraken’s mission to accelerate global crypto adoption and financial inclusion.
• You will own the end-to-end onboarding product strategy, championing client-centric design through research and feedback, scaling identity verification solutions that balance regulatory compliance with exceptional user experience, and reimagining KYC as rewarding progress moments that unlock access to premium products like Futures, Margin, and Kraken Pro.
• You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Fraud, and Regional Ops teams to anticipate regulatory changes, lead vendor strategy for ID verification providers, leverage data to define success metrics and optimize conversion funnels, and influence senior stakeholders with compelling product narratives, business cases, and roadmap priorities.
• You will foster cross-team alignment between growth, marketing, compliance, and operations to ensure onboarding solutions enable scalable growth, while staying ahead of emerging technologies and regulatory shifts in crypto onboarding and KYC.
• Kraken is a mission-driven, fully remote company with team members in over 70 countries speaking more than 50 languages, united by crypto conviction and a commitment to industry-leading security, education, and client support through products like Kraken Pro, Desktop, Wallet, and Futures.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape one of the most critical touchpoints in the customer journey, directly influencing user trust, activation rates, and long-term engagement, while advancing your expertise in regulated product management within the fast-evolving crypto landscape.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years focused on onboarding, identity verification, compliance, or regulated workflows
• Proven track record of owning strategy and delivering high-impact products in complex, regulated environments
• Deep knowledge of KYC/AML and crypto regulations, with ability to translate requirements into scalable product solutions
• Experience leading vendor evaluations, integrations, and performance management
• Advanced data fluency: defining success metrics, prioritizing roadmap investments, and correlating improvements with business impact
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including writing PRDs, strategy docs, and product vision narratives
