📋 Description

  • As a Senior Product Manager for Revenue Lifecycle and Enterprise Billing Platforms at WEX Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming how the company manages its financial and corporate systems, directly impacting operational efficiency and employee experience by modernizing end-to-end billing and finance workflows.
  • You will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of product initiatives that simplify complex financial processes, ensuring seamless integration across Finance, Receivables, and HR functions while driving measurable business outcomes through data-informed decision-making.
  • What the person will do day to day:
  • Lead the modernization and unification of WEX’s financial systems by developing business models, defining key performance indicators, and managing strategic projects that improve accuracy, speed, and user satisfaction in billing and finance operations.
  • Design and deliver best-in-class employee and internal customer experiences by identifying pain points, prototyping solutions, and iterating based on feedback to increase adoption and satisfaction across enterprise teams.
  • Deeply engage with stakeholders across Finance, HR, and Receivables to understand organizational needs, prioritize high-impact problems, and build consensus around product vision and roadmap direction.
  • Own the end-to-end billing and finance product roadmap, including user segmentation, feature prioritization, and tradeoff analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and market demands.
  • Lead and mentor 1-2 Scrum teams, fostering agile practices, removing impediments, and ensuring iterative delivery of high-value features that meet quality and timeline commitments.
  • Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data—including usage metrics, customer feedback, and financial performance—to measure product impact, validate assumptions, and inform future roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with product, analytics, UX, and commercial teams to conduct research, validate concepts, and co-create innovative solutions that disrupt legacy processes and improve scalability.
  • Participate in technical discussions with senior engineers and architects to define feasible product strategies, assess technical tradeoffs, and influence the evolution of platform capabilities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders by communicating complex ideas clearly, setting priorities, negotiating resources, and building cross-functional alignment to drive organizational change.

  • Develop deep expertise in enterprise financial systems, revenue lifecycle management, and the integration of HR, finance, and billing platforms within a large-scale payments technology organization.
  • Strengthen leadership and influence skills by driving transformation initiatives without direct authority, shaping culture, and delivering measurable impact on operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

🎯 Requirements

  • 6–10 years of proven product management experience, with mandatory specialization in financial, HR, or data systems product development.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex financial or enterprise software products, including experience with customer journey mapping, rapid prototyping, and outcome measurement.
  • Strong ability to translate high-level product vision into actionable feature-level plans and communicate that vision effectively to technical teams, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with a track record of making data-driven decisions and adapting roadmaps based on insights.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to streamline workflows, improve system integration, and enhance user experiences in financial or HR technology contexts.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) is preferred.
