- • The Senior Product Marketing Manager owns market definition, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for the CIMA platform and related digital products (CIMA ExamReady, CIMA Collabs) within the Milady business, translating market dynamics and customer needs into clear product direction and differentiated messaging.
- • Day to day, the role involves defining target segments and personas, crafting value propositions, leading synthesis of market and customer insights to influence product roadmap, defining packaging and bundling strategies, ensuring GTM readiness for product releases, developing enablement materials for marketing and sales teams, and monitoring in-market performance to drive iteration.
- • The role sits within Cengage Work, a division focused on career and technical education that partners with thousands of institutions to deliver job-ready skills in high-demand fields like allied health, cybersecurity, manufacturing, skilled trades, and beauty education, helping millions of learners gain employable skills and pursue new career paths.
- • The person will achieve impact by shaping product strategy through market insight, improving product-market fit, driving adoption and usage of CIMA products, influencing pricing and release strategy, and enabling cross-functional teams with clear positioning and messaging that supports pipeline growth and win rates.

- • Strong foundation in product marketing, including market definition, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
- • Ability to translate market, customer, and competitive insights into clear product direction and messaging
- • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners including Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing, and Portfolio stakeholders
- • Experience supporting product roadmap discussions and influencing prioritization through market insight
- • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience
- • Requires 4–6 years of experience in product marketing
