- • Join CF Benchmarks, a leading provider of cryptocurrency benchmarks and indices, as a Senior Sales & Business Development Lead for the EMEA region. - • This is a pivotal role where you will spearhead our sales initiatives, driving client acquisition and revenue growth for our comprehensive suite of index products. You will have full ownership of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, and will be instrumental in building and nurturing strong, long-term partnerships with institutional clients.
- • Your primary objective will be to expand our client base and ensure our clients' success by demonstrating the immense value our indices and data provide. You will be a key player in executing and refining the firm's go-to-market strategy across EMEA, collaborating closely with our index content and marketing teams to achieve tangible commercial outcomes.
- • As a Senior Sales & Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for generating, filtering, and actively pursuing client leads through both inbound and outbound strategies. You will also play a supportive role in mentoring and assisting other team members in their sales efforts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales environment.
- • You will manage a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, including major financial institutions like BlackRock, CME Group, Franklin Templeton, ChinaAMC, and Bitwise, who currently have over $100 billion in Assets Under Reference with us. Building trust-based relationships is paramount; you will need to deeply understand their unique needs and effectively communicate how CF Benchmarks' offerings can address those needs and drive their business forward.
- • A significant part of your role will involve identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities for our indices and data to play an increasingly vital role in both the burgeoning cryptocurrency market and the established traditional financial industries. This requires a keen understanding of market trends and the ability to position our products as essential tools for innovation and growth.
- • You will be the face of CF Benchmarks at key industry events, representing our brand and engaging with potential and existing clients. This will involve traveling across Europe to attend conferences, conduct client meetings, and participate in strategic engagements that foster business development and strengthen our market presence.
- • Close collaboration with our content and marketing teams is essential. You will work hand-in-hand with them to translate brand awareness and market interest into concrete business opportunities, ensuring a cohesive and impactful go-to-market approach.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO, gaining invaluable insights and contributing to the strategic direction of CF Benchmarks. You will play a hands-on role in shaping the future of crypto and its integration into the broader financial landscape, all within one of the most reputable and established brands in the crypto space.
- • We are looking for a candidate who possesses a deep understanding of the financial services sector, particularly within institutional sales. A strong comprehension of the use cases for indices and the market participants who leverage them is crucial. Familiarity with complex financial products and a solid grasp of cryptocurrency regulations, including the ability to navigate evolving frameworks, are also key.
- • The ideal candidate will have a robust personal network within the financial services sector, with a specific focus on institutional and corporate clients. A genuine interest in the cryptocurrency world and a proactive learning attitude towards new industry trends are highly valued. - • This position requires a commitment to international travel, estimated at up to 30% of your time, to represent the CFB brand at conferences, build relationships, and conduct client meetings across Europe.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue and expanding business within the institutional sales segment.
- • Experience at an index provider or within a crypto-native environment is a strong plus.
- • Solid comprehension of index use cases, target market participants, and knowledge of complex financial products.
- • Comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations and the ability to navigate evolving regulatory frameworks; knowledge of the EU BMR regulatory framework is a plus.
- • A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with institutional and corporate clients.
- • Genuine interest in the cryptocurrency world and a strong learning attitude towards new crypto-industry trends.
- • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
