- • Serve as the technical sales lead for Proofpoint’s Human & Agent-Centric Security Platform in Eastern Europe, guiding prospects and customers through the entire pre-sales process
- • Become a subject matter expert in Collaboration Security, Data Protection, Security Awareness, and Governance solutions offered by Proofpoint
- • Collaborate closely with Account Managers in Eastern Europe to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies, including discovery calls, proposal development, presentations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations
- • Design and champion customized security solutions that integrate Proofpoint’s platform with third-party systems to demonstrate clear business value and secure technical wins
- • Build and maintain trusted relationships with existing customers outside the sales cycle through proactive engagement, including threat updates, Customer Business Reviews (CBRs), and roadmap communications
- • Translate complex technical capabilities into business outcomes for both technical teams and C-suite executives during presentations and demonstrations
- • Gather and relay real-world customer feedback, pain points, and use cases to Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams to influence product development and roadmap priorities
- • Represent Proofpoint at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required, acting as a technical ambassador for the brand
- • Maintain deep knowledge of enterprise collaboration solutions (e.g., email), advanced persistent threats, security operations, network infrastructure, and cloud environments
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to dynamic customer and market needs
- • Ensure all technical interactions align with Proofpoint’s BRAVE core values: Bold, Responsive, Accountable, Visionary, and Exceptional
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior product support/professional services, preferably in cybersecurity
- • Proven experience with enterprise collaboration solutions (e.g., email), advanced persistent threats/secops, data security, network, or cloud infrastructure
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage technical staff and C-suite executives
- • Fluency in both English and Hungarian
- • Proactive mindset, ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude
- • Preferred: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- • Preferred: CISSP or other recognized security industry certification
