  • • As a Senior Sales Manager EMEA for Kraken Institutional, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Kraken’s presence among financial institutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing complex multi-product deals involving spot, futures, derivatives, custody, staking, and prime brokerage solutions.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and executing targeted outbound sales strategies to identify and engage institutional prospects such as hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and corporates; generating and nurturing leads through a blend of inbound and outbound efforts; partnering with Marketing, Product, and Business Development teams to refine messaging and competitive positioning; representing Kraken at industry events and conferences to boost brand visibility and pipeline growth; and managing end-to-end client onboarding while ensuring regulatory alignment across diverse EMEA jurisdictions.
  • • You will join Kraken’s Institutional Sales team, a mission-driven group of industry pioneers working at the forefront of crypto adoption, collaborating with global financial leaders to integrate digital assets into institutional portfolios through Kraken’s secure, compliant, and innovative product suite.
  • • Kraken is a fully remote, mission-focused company rooted in crypto values, dedicated to accelerating global cryptocurrency adoption for financial freedom and inclusion, with team members in over 70 countries speaking more than 50 languages, and a strong commitment to security, education, and client support across its ecosystem of products including Kraken Pro, Desktop, Wallet, and Futures.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to build Kraken’s institutional footprint in EMEA from the ground up, sharpen your expertise in selling sophisticated financial products within evolving crypto markets, deepen your regulatory knowledge across multiple jurisdictions, and grow as a trusted advisor to senior institutional decision-makers while contributing to a culture of meritocracy, continuous learning, and collaborative success.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in institutional sales within a trading or crypto environment, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • • Deep experience selling complex financial products to institutional clients, including OTC, prime brokerage, custody, and API solutions
  • • Strong, established rolodex of institutional relationships across EMEA spanning asset allocators, hedge funds, and banking institutions
  • • Comprehensive understanding of cryptocurrency regulations across EMEA markets and the ability to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes
  • • Fluency in English AND at least one of the following languages: German, Spanish, or French
  • • Willingness and ability to travel internationally across the EMEA region up to 30% of the time
