  • • You will own the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning and client acquisition to deal negotiation and seamless onboarding, ensuring a superior client experience.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide spectrum of institutional clients, including major hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and corporations, introducing them to the transformative potential of cryptocurrency.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and executing targeted sales strategies to penetrate the market effectively and achieve ambitious revenue targets for Kraken's comprehensive suite of institutional products and services.
  • • This includes spot trading, futures, derivatives, institutional-grade custody solutions, staking services, and more, positioning Kraken as the go-to platform for sophisticated financial institutions.
  • • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through a combination of robust inbound lead management and strategic outbound prospecting.
  • • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development, to gather crucial market intelligence, influence product roadmap development, and leverage competitive advantages.
  • • Act as a brand ambassador for Kraken at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, generating leads and enhancing our institutional brand presence and reputation.
  • • Cultivate and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with institutional clients, deeply understanding their unique business objectives, challenges, and needs to effectively demonstrate the value proposition of Kraken's offerings.
  • • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of the crypto market and showcasing how Kraken's innovative solutions can drive their success and profitability.
  • • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our product suite by providing valuable feedback from the front lines of institutional sales, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demands.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Over 4 years of experience in institutional sales, with a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within financial services or crypto trading environments.
  • • Demonstrated experience working within a crypto company, specifically driving adoption of financial products for institutional clients (e.g., OTC, prime brokerage, custody, API solutions).
  • • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency regulations and the ability to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • • Strong existing network of relationships within the financial services and institutional client base in the APAC region.
  • • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
