📋 Description

• As a Senior Solutions Engineer at vCluster (Loft Labs, Inc.), you will serve as the technical architect of enterprise customer success, leading the 'Technical Win' for complex, multi-stakeholder deals in the Kubernetes virtualization space by partnering with sales to navigate regulated industries and drive market dominance through deep technical consultancy.
• You will own the technical strategy for large-scale enterprise engagements, partnering with Account Executives to develop tailored narratives that address compliance, security, and operational concerns in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, and Public Sector.
• You will build formal Business Value Assessments (BVAs) that connect vCluster’s capabilities to quantifiable business outcomes, including infrastructure consolidation, cost savings, risk reduction, and improved developer velocity.
• You will integrate AI-native workflows using LLMs to automate discovery documentation, generate multi-tenant architecture diagrams, and accelerate go-to-market delivery while maintaining a 'human-in-the-loop' approach to ensure architectural accuracy and technical integrity.
• You will act as a force multiplier within the Solutions Engineering organization by mentoring Associate and Intermediate SEs, refining qualification frameworks like MEDDPICC, and designing scalable Proof of Value (PoV) templates to elevate team effectiveness.
• You will serve as the Voice of the Customer by translating enterprise pain points into high-fidelity technical requirements that directly influence the vCluster product roadmap through close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• You will operate in a remote-first, globally distributed team culture headquartered in San Francisco, contributing to a venture-backed open-source company that has raised over $30M from top-tier VCs including Khosla Ventures and powers vCluster — an open-source Kubernetes virtualization platform with over 10k GitHub stars and adoption by Global Fortune 500 companies and tech unicorns.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a pre-sales or solutions engineering role, with a proven track record of positioning complex infrastructure or platform solutions to enterprise-level buyers.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience within the Kubernetes ecosystem, including deep understanding of control planes, namespaces, cluster API, and the ability to explain trade-offs between legacy multi-tenancy and virtualization approaches.
• Demonstrated cognitive flexibility and strategic thinking — able to move beyond generic demo tactics to data-driven, consultative selling and anticipate market trends such as AI/ML GPU virtualization to identify complex entry points in Fortune 2000 enterprises.
