- • As a Sr. Solutions Engineer in Italy, you will be an essential part of Databricks’ mission to make data science and analytics accessible to everyone by demonstrating how the Data Intelligence Platform solves complex data challenges for customers.
- • Day to day, you will form successful client relationships in your territory, collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to deliver technical and business value, conduct hands-on evaluations using Spark programming, integrate with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications, and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
- • You will join a collaborative, customer-focused team at Databricks that values innovation and creativity, working alongside global experts in data and AI to help organizations unify and democratize data, analytics, and AI.
- • In this role, you will develop both technically and in pre-sales, aiming to become an independently operating Sr. Solutions Engineer while gaining expertise in solution architecture, design, and trusted advisory skills through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
🎯 Requirements
- • Familiarity working with clients, creating narratives, answering questions, aligning agendas with customer interests, and achieving tangible outcomes.
- • Ability to independently deliver technical propositions, identify customer pain points, and explain business value to build trusted advisor skills.
- • Experience diving deeper into solution architecture and design.
- • Knowledgeable in a core Big Data Analytics domain with exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept and understanding of a major public cloud platform.
- • Proficiency in coding with a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- • Fluency in Italian and English is required.
- • Must be based in the Milan region (or within commutable distance for hybrid schedule); Rome-based candidates may be considered.
