📋 Description
- • Oversee daily operations of a remote team of clinical operations nurses responsible for post-acute follow-up coordination with emergency departments to reduce patient readmissions and manage observation admissions.
- • Provide operational and management oversight to clinical staff without providing direct clinical supervision or patient care.
- • Develop, manage, and adjust nurse schedules to ensure continuous staffing coverage and alignment with program demands and business needs.
- • Support the implementation and expansion of clinical programs, including managing larger, more complex initiatives as they grow.
- • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate operational challenges and technical issues to senior leadership, including the Senior Medical Director and Director of Operations.
- • Deliver enhanced training and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth, skill development, and performance improvement.
- • Collaborate with HR and management on recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback processes for clinical operations staff.
- • Analyze team performance metrics and data to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and service outcomes.
- • Ensure strict adherence to all standard operating procedures, departmental policies, and organizational compliance requirements.
- • Consult with clinical and operational leaders to escalate clinical or operational needs requiring higher-level decision-making.
- • Utilize clinical knowledge to effectively coordinate care between facilities, providers, and internal teams while maintaining compliance with payer program guidelines.
- • Operate proficiently within Microsoft Office Suite, clinical decision support tools, EHR/EMR systems, and telehealth platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- • Perform additional job duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of clinical operations and patient care coordination programs.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- • 4-6 years of clinical nursing experience
- • Active RN License
- • At least 2 years of experience working in emergency departments
