• • As a Sr. Technical Trainer, you will play a pivotal role within our Global Partner Enablement team, specifically focusing on empowering our Global System Integrator (GSI) partner ecosystem across the Asia Pacific region, with a significant emphasis on India. Your primary mission will be to equip these partners with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully deploy, manage, and optimize Apache Kafka and Confluent's cutting-edge products and solutions.
• • This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise and exceptional communication and teaching abilities. You will be the primary advocate for Confluent's enablement initiatives within the APAC region, working closely with partner Learning & Development teams to foster widespread awareness and drive adoption of our technologies across various business groups, specialized practices, and diverse geographical locations.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass delivering world-class, instructor-led training (ILT) sessions, both virtually and in person. These sessions will be meticulously designed to facilitate hands-on labs and practical exercises, accelerating the growth of our Asia Pacific GSI talent pool and increasing the number of certified professionals.
• • You will be instrumental in organizing and delivering comprehensive technical content. This content will cover the foundational principles of Apache Kafka, the intricacies of Confluent Cloud, and the robust features of Confluent Platform. The training will delve into real-world applications, advanced configuration techniques, and critical performance optimization strategies, ensuring partners are equipped to handle complex scenarios.
• • Building and nurturing strong relationships with our GSI partners will be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for prioritizing training efforts based on their impact, aligning enablement programs with specific client needs, and strategically shaping a results-driven training plan that maximizes partner success and drives business outcomes.
• • A crucial element of your role involves actively soliciting and incorporating feedback from training participants. This continuous feedback loop will be vital for refining course materials, enhancing delivery techniques, and ensuring the training remains relevant, engaging, and effective.
• • You will collaborate closely with our dedicated curriculum development team. This partnership will ensure that all training content is consistently updated and meticulously aligned with the latest advancements in Apache Kafka and Confluent's product suite, reflecting the most current technical developments and best practices.
• • Maintaining a high level of expertise is paramount. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest developments in Apache Kafka, Confluent's product offerings, and emerging trends within the dynamic field of distributed data streaming. This continuous learning will inform your training delivery and strategic recommendations.
• • Contribute significantly to our internal knowledge management efforts. This includes documenting best practices, creating comprehensive FAQs, and detailing solutions to common technical challenges encountered by our partners, thereby building a valuable repository of knowledge for the entire Confluent ecosystem.
• • Foster seamless collaboration with internal Confluent teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Partner Solutions Architects. This cross-functional teamwork ensures that our training content accurately reflects the latest technical innovations and strategic directions of our products.
