📋 Description

  • As an SSDI Hearing Advocate at Brown & Brown Absence Services Group, you will serve as a critical liaison and advocate for individuals navigating the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) appeal process, ensuring timely and favorable outcomes for claimants.
  • Day to day, you will educate clients on the SSDI appeal process, manage and complete claim files prior to reconsideration or hearings, answer incoming calls from clients and government agencies, and use independent decision-making to assess claim eligibility while maintaining 100% accuracy in quality audits.
  • You will join a fast-paced, mission-driven team within Brown & Brown Insurance, a nationally recognized insurance brokerage with over 80 years of success, where your work directly impacts people’s lives by helping them access vital disability benefits.
  • In this role, you will develop expertise in SSDI appeals, strengthen your communication and critical thinking skills, and grow professionally in a supportive environment that values empathy, accuracy, and customer-centric advocacy.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of SSDI Hearing or paralegal appeals experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
  • Ability to listen with empathy and maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented phone-based environment
  • Salesforce or CRM experience preferred
  • Strong computer literacy with ability to type and speak simultaneously
