- • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
- • Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management for decision-making
- • Manage general ledger accounts, perform account reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
- • Process journal entries and maintain the fixed asset register, including calculation of depreciation
- • Review expense reports and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation and posting of closing entries
- • Coordinate with family office team members to gather necessary documentation for timely financial close
- • Assist with external audits by preparing audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries
- • Support tax preparation and planning activities through accurate recordkeeping and documentation
- • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices and internal controls
- • Assist in the development and documentation of standardized accounting procedures and workflows
- • Ensure timely completion of all financial reporting deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance
- • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate, analyze, and present financial data
- • Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Archway, or similar systems and maintain familiarity with ERP platforms
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to support ad hoc financial reporting and special projects as assigned
- • Maintain strict attention to detail in all accounting tasks and uphold integrity in financial reporting
- • Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- • Work in a hybrid model: four days per week in the Greenwich, CT office, one day remotely
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- • 2–3 years of combined progressive accounting and auditing experience
- • Proficiency in GAAP principles and experience with month-end close processes
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Archway, or similar)
- • CPA candidate or pursuing CPA certification (preferred)
