📋 Description

• As a Staff AI Engineer at Elliptic Enterprises Limited, you will be one of the most impactful early hires in the company's AI expansion, shaping foundational decisions around tooling, agentic patterns, and the centralised AI platform before they become entrenched.
• You will serve as the architectural conscience for Elliptic's early AI decisions, evaluating tooling like LangSmith and Databricks against production-scale requirements, ensuring internal agentic patterns are inheritable by customer-facing products, and advocating for AI best practices across product, engineering, and development teams.
• You will join a pivotal moment in Elliptic's growth, working across the AgentForce and Investigations & AI teams to hold the architectural bar on stack decisions, define engineering standards for AI systems (including observability, prompt versioning, cost governance, and evaluation harnesses), and produce technical foundation documents that clarify decisions made and deferred.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI infrastructure leadership, learn to influence without formal authority, gain experience in balancing internal tooling with customer-facing AI needs in a regulated compliance context, and contribute to building a trustworthy, auditable AI platform that supports Elliptic's mission in digital asset safety.
