- ⢠As a Staff Audit Associate at Assurance Dimensions, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit, review, and compilation services to a diverse client base across industries, supporting the firmās mission to provide 'big firm' expertise with a personalized, local touch while contributing to Crete Professionals Allianceās rapid growth as one of the nationās fastest-expanding accounting networks.
- ⢠Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements under senior supervision, preparing and organizing detailed workpapers that substantiate audit conclusions, gathering and validating client financial data and supporting documentation, participating in client and internal team meetings to discuss findings and progress, applying GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards to real-world accounting scenarios, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving auditing regulations and firm methodologies through continuous learning.
- ⢠You will join a growing, collaborative assurance team at Assurance Dimensionsāa licensed CPA firm with offices in Coral Springs, Jacksonville, and Tampa, FLābacked by the national resources and innovative workforce solutions of Crete Professionals Alliance, which operates over 17 regional offices and serves clients across more than half the United States with a blend of local accountability and national scale.
- ⢠This role offers significant professional development opportunities, including mentorship from experienced auditors, exposure to Becker and LinkedIn Learning for CPA exam and skill advancement, hands-on experience with audit tools like CaseWare and IDEA, and a clear pathway to grow within the firm while building expertise in public accounting across multiple industries and engagement types.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Bachelorās degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA in major preferred
- ⢠Minimum of 1 year of public accounting or audit experience
- ⢠Understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
- ⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with audit software such as CaseWare or IDEA is a plus
- ⢠CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (preferred but not required)
- ⢠Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and effective verbal and written communication abilities
