đź“‹ Description

  • • OLIX is at the forefront of a technological revolution, addressing the unprecedented demand for AI infrastructure by developing the groundbreaking Optical Tensor Processing Unit (OTPU). This innovative architecture moves beyond the limitations of current hardware, promising unparalleled speed and energy efficiency, positioning OLIX to become a dominant force in the next century's economic landscape.
  • • As a Staff High Speed Analog Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in realizing this vision. You will be instrumental in the design, simulation, and development of the critical precision analog and mixed-signal circuitry that underpins the performance of our OTPUs. This is a unique opportunity to apply your deep expertise in high-speed analog design, signal integrity, and analog/digital integration to a truly transformative technology.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of analog circuit development. You will lead the charge in designing, simulating, and bringing to life high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits essential for the functionality of our OTPUs. This involves a meticulous approach to circuit design, ensuring optimal performance and reliability under demanding conditions.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve the evaluation and development of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs. You will focus on ensuring impeccable high-speed analog signal integrity, which includes conducting thorough layout reviews, performing parasitic modeling, and implementing strategies to mitigate noise and maintain signal fidelity in complex, high-density environments.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work hand-in-hand with our optical engineers to guarantee the seamless integration of analog electronics with sophisticated optical components. This cross-functional synergy is vital for achieving the high fidelity signal transmission and tight synchronization required by our cutting-edge AI accelerator hardware.
  • • You will be the architect of our signal integrity, power integrity, and noise mitigation strategies. This requires a deep understanding of the challenges posed by densely packed, high-speed environments and the development of robust solutions to overcome them.
  • • The validation of your designs will be a critical phase. You will conduct detailed testing and characterization of analog circuits in a lab setting, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment such as oscilloscopes, Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), and spectrum analyzers to ensure performance meets stringent specifications.
  • • Furthermore, you will lead the development of essential test boards and the meticulous bring-up procedures for both prototype and production-level hardware. This ensures that our designs are not only innovative but also manufacturable and reliable.
  • • When issues arise, you will be at the forefront of root-cause analysis and resolution. You will tackle complex board-level challenges related to signal integrity, noise coupling, power delivery, and thermal effects, driving swift and effective solutions.
  • • As a Staff Engineer, you will also serve as a mentor and guide to junior engineers. You will lead design reviews, impart best practices in analog/mixed-signal design, and champion robust design-for-manufacturability (DFM) approaches, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
  • • You will coordinate and lead cross-functional debug and validation efforts, bridging the electrical, firmware, and optical domains to ensure holistic system performance. This requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills across diverse engineering disciplines.
  • • Finally, you will champion best practices in analog board-level design, validation, and documentation throughout the organization. This includes establishing and driving adherence to design standards and quality processes, ensuring consistency and high quality across all projects.
  • • This role offers the chance to shape the future of AI hardware, working with a passionate team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. You will be a key contributor to a company poised for significant growth and impact.
