📋 Description

• Architect and deliver world-class mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript for global brands such as Kraft Heinz, NFL, Moderna, Lululemon, and Atlassian. You will own the technical vision for mobile within cross-functional pods, ensuring every release raises the bar for performance, accessibility, and user delight.
• Lead end-to-end feature development—from whiteboard sketches to App Store and Google Play launches—while championing clean, modular code that can be reused across multiple client engagements. Your work will directly influence how millions of users interact with household-name products every day.
• Partner with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and back-end developers in Apply Digital’s “One Team” pod structure. You will translate complex product requirements into elegant technical solutions, facilitate sprint planning, and run technical retrospectives that continuously improve velocity and quality.
• Establish and evangelize React Native best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns across the LATAM engineering community. You will mentor junior and mid-level developers through pair programming, code reviews, and brown-bag sessions, cultivating a culture of learning and excellence.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and crash reports across iOS and Android ecosystems. You will implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and E2E) to guarantee rock-solid releases and reduce regression risk for high-stakes client launches.
• Evaluate emerging mobile technologies—ranging from new React Native architectures to native modules and AI-driven personalization—and present pragmatic recommendations to leadership. Your research will shape Apply Digital’s long-term mobile roadmap and keep our clients ahead of the curve.
• Provide technical consulting during pre-sales and discovery phases, translating business goals into feasible engineering roadmaps. You will estimate effort, identify risks, and craft compelling technical narratives that win new engagements and expand existing accounts.
• Occasionally step into fire-drill mode to meet aggressive deadlines, coordinating with global teammates across PT/ET time zones. Your calm leadership under pressure will safeguard project success and reinforce client trust in Apply Digital’s delivery excellence.
• Contribute to open-source initiatives, internal tooling, and knowledge repositories that accelerate future projects. Your reusable libraries and documentation will become the foundation upon which the next generation of Apply Digital mobile engineers build.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development with at least 4 years focused on React Native and TypeScript in production environments
• Demonstrated expertise in either iOS (Swift/Obj-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) native development, including platform-specific APIs and performance optimization techniques
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Nice-to-have: working knowledge of back-end technologies (Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL) and prior experience in a consultancy or client-services setting
