📋 Description

• • The Staff Engineer, Test & Evaluation Engineer role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of Shield AI’s XBAT aircraft and associated systems through rigorous integration testing across developmental, functional, and qualification phases.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include defining test objectives, planning test campaigns, executing flight and ground tests, analyzing test data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with engineering teams to resolve issues and validate system performance.
• • Shield AI is a venture-backed deep-tech company founded in 2015 with a mission to protect service members and civilians using intelligent systems. The company develops advanced autonomous aircraft like the V-BAT and X-BAT, along with AI-powered software such as Hivemind Enterprise and Hivemind Vision, serving global operations from offices across the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
