đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff FinOps Account Manager at CloudZero, you will serve as a strategic advisor to enterprise customers, combining deep cloud cost expertise with customer success leadership to drive measurable financial outcomes and long-term value from cloud investments. This role is critical in helping organizations transform cloud spending from a cost center into a strategic asset through data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive guidance.
- • You will own end-to-end engagement with strategic customers (those above $300k ARR), leading onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion initiatives while acting as the trusted voice of the customer across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams. Your work directly influences product roadmap, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth by turning complex cloud cost data into actionable business insights.
- • Day to day, you will conduct strategic business reviews with executive stakeholders, analyze multi-cloud spending patterns using advanced Excel and BI tools, develop and deliver customized FinOps recommendations, mentor junior FAMs, lead joint success planning workshops, and build scalable playbooks for cloud cost optimization that can be replicated across customer segments.
- • You will partner closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams within customer organizations to align on tagging strategies, reservation planning, unit economics, and cost allocation practices — ensuring technical and financial teams speak the same language when optimizing cloud spend.
- • You will champion CloudZero’s product innovations by introducing new features and capabilities to customers, translating technical value into business outcomes, and feeding customer feedback back into internal product and process improvement initiatives.
- • You will establish and maintain rigorous standards for data analysis, presentation clarity, and stakeholder communication — creating templates, runbooks, and best practices that elevate the consistency and impact of FinOps engagements across the team.
- • You will monitor key performance indicators including NPS, adoption rates, retention, and expansion metrics, using data to identify risks and opportunities early and drive proactive interventions that strengthen customer health and lifetime value.
- • You will operate in a high-velocity, innovative B2B SaaS environment where your ability to synthesize technical, financial, and operational insights will directly shape how customers achieve cloud financial accountability and operational excellence.
- • Through this role, you will deepen your expertise in multi-cloud FinOps, strategic account management, and data storytelling — positioning yourself as a leader in the rapidly growing cloud cost optimization space while making a tangible impact on some of the world’s most innovative technology companies.
