Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff Product Manager (AI Builder) at Babylist, you will own a major consumer surface or core customer journey end-to-end, serving as the durable product expert and decision-maker for high-impact areas of the platform used by millions of families.
- • You will set the one-year strategy, define KPIs, uphold quality and AI-native standards, and operate as a peer-builder who ships prototypes, analyzes data, and contributes to code when it accelerates impact.
- • Babylist is a remote-first company with team members across the U.S. and Canada, serving over 9 million annual shoppers through its registry, e-commerce, and content platform, with more than $500M in 2024 revenue and a mission to connect growing families with everything they need to thrive.
- • You will mentor and develop other PMs, help shape AI-native product practices across the organization, and raise the bar for the function by modeling clarity, outcome ownership, and customer-obsessed decision-making.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience owning a major consumer product surface end-to-end at meaningful scale, with a proven track record in defining strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering impact for consumer products.
- • Deep customer expertise, including the ability to understand and co-create with users, bring qualitative and quantitative evidence to decisions, and solve root pain points rather than symptoms.
- • Technical fluency, with the ability to stand up working prototypes, query data and codebases, and contribute to code execution when valuable — regardless of formal background, as long as you understand feasibility, tradeoffs, and how to build real solutions.
- • AI-native mindset: actively using LLMs and AI coding tools in daily work, with intuition for model capabilities, skill in decomposing problems for AI agents, and a commitment to combining AI speed with human judgment.
- • Outcome ownership mindset: focusing on impact over shipping, building measures of success, and leading persist/pivot/stop decisions based on evidence, not just activity.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary range of USD $214,507 to $256,885 or CAD $212,500 to $265,600, with equity and bonus opportunities.
- • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Retirement savings plan with company matching and flexible spending accounts.
- • Generous paid parental leave and PTO.
- • Remote work stipend to set up your home office.
- • Perks supporting physical, mental, and emotional health, parenting, childcare, and financial planning.
