đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Staff Product Operations Manager at SoSafe GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the entire Product Development organization. Your core mission is to foster ambition, build confidence, and empower autonomy within our product teams, while simultaneously mitigating risks and removing unnecessary friction from their workflows. This senior individual contributor role is designed for someone who thrives on shaping and refining the operational practices, rituals, and feedback mechanisms that enable our teams to innovate rapidly, make sound decisions, and embrace continuous learning.
  • • You will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and meaningful connection between strategy, discovery, delivery, and the ultimate outcomes of our product initiatives, especially as SoSafe continues its rapid scaling journey. This position is distinct from traditional delivery management or project coordination; your focus will be on enabling high-velocity, high-quality product decisions and impactful results, all while actively reducing operational friction and dismantling silos that can hinder collaboration between Product, Design, and Engineering.
  • • Your contributions will directly shape and evolve the methodologies by which product work is executed at SoSafe. This encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from the initial strategic planning and in-depth discovery phases, through to efficient delivery and insightful learning loops. You will be a key enabler for Product Managers, equipping them with the support and frameworks needed to make high-quality decisions with agility. This includes fostering clear prioritization strategies, facilitating sensible trade-off discussions, and encouraging calculated risk-taking.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve close partnership with our Design teams. You will focus on enhancing the integration between the discovery process, the articulation of design intent, and the subsequent delivery phases, ensuring these elements remain tightly coupled as the organization expands. By improving shared understanding and refining our collaborative ways of working, you will actively work to reduce friction and break down existing silos between Product, Design, and Engineering.
  • • You will strengthen the mechanisms through which customer insights, business objectives, and delivery signals are effectively incorporated into our product direction and roadmap planning. This involves designing and facilitating critical sessions, including planning, review, and retrospective meetings, with a strong emphasis on outcomes, learning, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • • To support these goals, you will introduce and champion systems, standards, and tools that enhance focus, clarity, and execution efficiency without introducing unnecessary overhead or slowing down our agile teams. Furthermore, you will improve the visibility of progress, potential risks, and key decisions for both individual teams and leadership, ensuring that Product Operations serves as an enabler rather than a bureaucratic reporting function.
  • • A crucial part of your proactive approach will be to identify systemic patterns where current processes may not be optimal. You will then collaborate with teams to implement early course corrections, ensuring that we are constantly iterating and improving our operational effectiveness. This role demands a strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach to execution, capable of influencing without direct authority and navigating complex, ambiguous environments to drive significant positive change within SoSafe's product development landscape.
