- • As a Staff Sales Operations Analyst (Regional Business Partner) at DexCom, you will serve as a strategic advisor to regional sales leaders and field representatives, ensuring the sales organization understands, adopts, and consistently follows best practices, leverages commercial tools, and uses the right information to identify and execute opportunities—directly contributing to improved sales effectiveness and alignment with DexCom’s mission to transform diabetes management and expand into broader consumer health technology.
- • You will drive execution of the commercial strategy by ensuring sales teams follow best practices and consistently leverage available tools and information; partner with Regional Sales Directors, District Managers, and field representatives to identify opportunities, reinforce operating rhythms, and improve sales effectiveness; translate insights and guidance from Revenue Operations and Commercial Data Science into clear, actionable direction for the field without performing technical or analytical development work; support territory planning by helping teams identify priority accounts, assess opportunity potential, and utilize simple, standardized planning templates; promote adoption and consistent use of pre‑call and business‑planning tools to strengthen field execution; help address field concerns by providing fact‑based responses and ensuring alignment with commercial strategy; reinforce the use of KPIs and dashboards to guide sales activities, track performance, and inform coaching conversations; gather feedback from the field and work with cross‑functional partners to enhance tools, processes, and commercial programs; and coordinate regional implementation of commercial initiatives, ensuring clarity of expectations, alignment on timelines, and readiness across the sales organization.
- • You will be part of the Commercial Data Science & Revenue Operations organization, a strategic function that bridges data-producing teams and frontline sales teams to ensure sales execution aligns with overall commercial strategy; DexCom is a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) with a 25-year legacy of innovation, now expanding its vision to empower people to take control of health through personalized, actionable insights for serious health conditions, driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate employees worldwide committed to integrity, innovation, and improving human health on a global scale.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced influencing and change management skills by guiding sales teams through process adoption without authority; deepen your expertise in sales operations, territory planning, and commercial execution within a high-growth medical technology leader; enhance your ability to translate complex data and strategic initiatives into simple, actionable field guidance; and build cross-functional collaboration experience working with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams to drive organizational alignment and performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience; a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain the “why” behind processes clearly and confidently
- • Proven influencing skills to guide sales teams through change and drive consistent adoption of best practices without authority
- • Fact-based, structured approach to addressing questions, resolving concerns, and supporting field execution
- • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple regional priorities while keeping stakeholders aligned
- • Proficiency with commercial tools and CRM-related workflows to support adoption and proper usage
- • Experience in sales, sales operations, or territory management (nice to have)
- • Familiarity with CRM or sales-enablement tools (nice to have)
- • Background in coaching or training roles (nice to have)
