📋 Description

• Join Qonto as a Staff SAP Engineer to serve as the strongest technical voice for Finance and Accounting teams, taking end-to-end ownership of the SAP integration landscape to stabilize quality post-migration and evolve it to support the company’s growth across Europe.
• Frame complex integration challenges across SAP and the broader corporate tech ecosystem, drive architectural decisions, set quality standards, and act as the main technical point of contact for Finance while challenging and guiding external integrators such as PwC, MeltOne, and MSG.
• Design and evolve integrations using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with ABAP, RAP, and CDS, leveraging SAP BTP & Integration Suite, Go for internal middleware, and connecting systems like Workday, ADP, Google Workspace, and Slack under banking-grade compliance frameworks.
• Work with full autonomy in a collaborative, high-trust environment where you are expected to propose solutions, own outcomes, and leverage AI tools like Claude to enhance development practices and drive innovation.
• Be part of a tight-knit Corporate Automation team of five engineers focused on SAP landscape, Workday middleware, and agentic AI, led by Sébastien, a leader with 15+ years in SAP and cloud migrations who champions technical excellence and soft power over hierarchy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience, ideally with S/4HANA Public Cloud, ABAP, RAP, and CDS
• Proven ability to design and build integrations across enterprise systems
• Strong stakeholder communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical Finance teams
• Experience working with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Joule) and a mindset that embraces experimentation and critical evaluation of AI outputs
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, anticipate challenges, and drive initiatives without constant direction
