- • As a Staff / Senior Deployment & Release Manager at AeroVect Inc., you will ensure the safe and reliable deployment of Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) services, directly supporting the company’s mission to transform ground handling with autonomy for major airlines and ground service providers worldwide.
- • You will own and drive deployment and release processes, including evaluating and approving deployments for Operational Design Domains (ODDs), managing software updates with zero downtime during peak hours, supporting AV bringup from receipt to first autonomous missions, and maintaining vehicle configurations and change management in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- • AeroVect is a Series A company backed by top-tier venture capital in aviation and autonomous driving, working with some of the world’s largest airlines and ground handling providers to redefine day-to-day operations through autonomous technology.
- • In this role, you will develop and own data-driven, safety-critical processes, collaborate with the Director of Safety, Systems, and Product and the VP of Engineering, and gain deep expertise in managing complex autonomous system deployments while advancing your leadership in safety, release engineering, and cross-functional alignment within a high-impact, innovative aerospace autonomy environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or equivalent preferred
- • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with developing and managing safety-critical autonomous deployments
- • Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure
- • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage cross-functional teams to align on a unified process vision and deliver against it
- • Ability to articulate technical issues and solutions to all levels of the business, within and beyond the engineering communities
