This position is critical to ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of one of the world's largest and most sophisticated identity platforms. You will be at the forefront of establishing and refining solutions for building, deploying, and maintaining the robust infrastructure that underpins our mission-critical enterprise software solutions. By embracing a DevOps model, you will collaborate closely with integrated Development and Operations teams, contributing to continuous deployments that happen daily. Your expertise will be vital in the collaborative development, deployment, and ongoing operation of our solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities designed to enhance our cloud-hosted production infrastructure. You will work both collaboratively and independently to design and deliver innovative solutions, while also critically reviewing and providing constructive feedback on solutions proposed or implemented by other engineers. A significant part of your role will involve shaping how our mission-critical enterprise software solutions are developed and deployed. This includes optimizing and automating CI/CD pipelines to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products with speed and consistency. You will be actively involved in designing, building, and supporting the essential infrastructure and security technologies within our cloud environment, with a strong focus on ensuring resiliency, comprehensive observability, and cost optimization. Proactive and effective communication will be key; you will need to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences across the company, sharing your extensive experience, knowledge, and expertise to foster growth and development within the team. You will also participate in the planning of future work, identifying key areas for improvement and innovation. Furthermore, you will conduct thorough technology evaluations and selections to ensure we are leveraging the most effective tools and platforms. Finally, you will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the continuous maintenance and support of our cloud solutions, responding to and resolving critical incidents as needed.
- • You will be joining a dynamic and forward-thinking team at Ping Identity, a company dedicated to making digital experiences secure and seamless for all users. Our intelligent, cloud identity platform is trusted by over half of the Fortune 100 companies, highlighting the scale and impact of our work. We foster a culture of digital freedom, where innovation and collaboration are paramount. The team operates on a DevOps model, emphasizing integrated development and operations, with daily continuous deployments. This environment encourages shared responsibility and a collective drive towards excellence in building, deploying, and operating complex software solutions. You'll be part of a global organization that champions individuality and diversity, creating an inclusive space where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work and contribute to our shared success.
- • In this role, you will have unparalleled opportunities to learn and grow. You will gain deep insights into the architecture and operation of one of the largest identity platforms globally, significantly expanding your expertise in scalable, distributed systems. You will hone your skills in designing, building, and managing resilient cloud infrastructure, mastering containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. The role offers a chance to become proficient in Go programming and advanced CI/CD practices, driving automation and efficiency. You will also develop your communication and leadership skills by mentoring colleagues and presenting technical solutions. Achieving success in this position means directly contributing to the reliability and security of Ping Identity's services, enhancing your professional reputation and career trajectory within the cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure domain.
