📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer at Tabs Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology backbone of an AI-native revenue platform that automates the contract-to-cash lifecycle for modern finance and accounting teams.
• Day to day, you will work across the entire revenue lifecycle—parsing contracts, invoicing, billing, payments, and revenue recognition—while collaborating directly with the CTO, engineering, and product teams to architect scalable, secure solutions and drive them to production.
• You will be part of an early-stage, high-growth startup headquartered in New York City, backed by over $91M in funding from Lightspeed, General Catalyst, and Primary, where you’ll help define technical direction and mentor a growing team of ~30 engineers.
• In this role, you will level up your expertise in AI-driven systems, distributed architecture, and full-stack development while mentoring peers, setting technical standards, and influencing the engineering culture as the company scales.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping high-impact products
• Proven experience leading big, complex system design in fast-moving, high-growth environments
• Hands-on proficiency with TypeScript, Python, or similar languages and modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Nest.js, React)
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems, with practical application in real-world scenarios
• Genuine excitement about AI, including hands-on use, experimentation, and staying current with advancements in GenAI
• Comfort thriving in ambiguous, early-stage problem environments where you shape solutions rather than follow specs
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, raise technical bar, and foster a collaborative, learning-oriented culture
