📋 Description

• Staff Software Engineer role focused on upgrading the patient experience by building modern software that integrates with legacy doctor's office systems to enable online scheduling, paperless check-in, interactive reminders, automated waitlist, payments, and more.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading development of meaningful product slices as a full-stack builder, collaborating with product managers, designers, co-founders, account managers, and sales teams, and participating in occasional client calls to gather feedback and validate feature effectiveness.
• Nextpatient Inc. is a remote-first, self-funded company of 40 people that prioritizes focus on healthcare practices over VC expectations, offering engineers greater ownership and impact in a top-rated solution used by thousands of offices nationwide.
• The role offers opportunities to grow technical leadership, deepen full-stack expertise in Python and Postgres, engage directly with healthcare clients to understand real-world needs, and contribute to AI-integrated features while working in a small, agile team with high autonomy.

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of making significant contributions in past products
• Start-up friendly temperament comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
• 10 or more years of experience
• Proficiency in Python and Postgres on Linux
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, sales, and account management teams
• Willingness to participate in client calls to gather feedback
