- • As a Staff Software Engineer on Tide’s Agentic Platform, you will be at the forefront of the AI revolution, building core services that bridge robust backend systems with Generative AI to shape the future of financial services for SMEs.
- • You will design and build APIs, workflow orchestration, and tool integration for Tide’s agentic platform, integrate third-party components where beneficial, and build custom solutions where control, trust, and reuse are critical, while collaborating with product, data, platform, and security teams to productionise shared AI capabilities.
- • You will join a passionate, globally distributed team of over 2,500 Tideans across offices in Sofia (Bulgaria), London, Serbia, Romania, Lithuania, Hyderabad, Gurugram, New Delhi, Berlin, Paris, and Luxembourg, working in a fintech leader serving over 1.8 million SME members globally with $300M+ in funding.
- • You will help shape reusable engineering patterns for AI-enabled workflows, design reliable, secure, observable, and adoptable services, and influence long-term technical direction beyond feature delivery, advancing your expertise in AI infrastructure, distributed systems, and platform engineering in a regulated fintech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong backend or platform engineering experience in production environments
- • Good judgement across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service design
- • Experience integrating internal and third-party platforms
- • Comfort working in ambiguity and turning emerging needs into robust platform components
- • Strong focus on quality, reliability, and developer usability
- • Experience with AI infrastructure or orchestration is helpful but not essential
- • Experience in highly regulated industries (Fintech, Healthtech, etc.) where safety and compliance are core is valuable but not essential
