- • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Consumer (Money) team at Consensys, you will build and enhance MetaMask’s Stablecoin/Earn feature strategy to create Neobank-like experiences, directly contributing to the mission of making web3 universally easy to access, use, and build on for one billion participants and five million developers.
- • Day to day, you will implement user-centric solutions across MetaMask clients (Extension, Mobile, Web), contribute to backend APIs and middleware powering consumer experiences, collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features, participate in code reviews, and help maintain high code quality standards while working on intuitive, efficient, and secure Web3 interactions.
- • You will join MetaMask’s engineering organization, which prioritizes high trust, autonomy, collaboration, and career growth, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where engineers are empowered to do work they are proud of and enjoy, supported by a network of builders shaping the edge of the web3 ecosystem.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack web3 development, gain hands-on experience with DeFi integrations and financial product implementations, strengthen your leadership in agile teams, and grow your impact by shaping products that onboard the next generation of web3 users, positioning you for continued technical and professional advancement within Consensys and the broader blockchain industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years working with mobile-based technologies
- • 5+ years building websites and/or applications
- • Experience with React and React Native
- • Strong knowledge of modern Javascript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.)
- • Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals and Web3 integration
- • Experience working with APIs and middleware services

- • Salary range of $164,000–$196,000 USD for US-based candidates (determined throughout interview process based on experience and skills)
