Staff Solution Architect

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Solution Architect at Honeycomb Inc., you will drive technical strategy on the company's largest and most complex deals, partnering with Strategic AEs and Sales Leadership across the region to influence major customer decisions and shape go-to-market strategy.
• • Day to day, you will lead discovery, solution design, and executive conversations that connect Honeycomb's platform to real engineering and business priorities; own the technical win by shaping success criteria, guiding POCs, running competitive bake-offs, and building stakeholder conviction from first call to close; advise engineering leaders and executives on AI-era observability and modern operations; turn complex customer environments into clear architectures and solution narratives; leverage AI tools while maintaining accuracy and reliability; get hands-on when needed to instrument apps, unblock technical issues, and help customers prove outcomes in real environments; build scalable technical content, reusable demos, and repeatable architectures; deliver impactful demos, workshops, and presentations; work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Field Engineering, and DevRel to sharpen go-to-market motion; bring field signals back to shape product direction and demo strategy; and mentor peers while modeling judgment and autonomy.

• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise technical selling, influence product and GTM strategy through field signals, strengthen your ability to advise C-suite and engineering leaders on modern observability and AI-assisted workflows, build reusable technical assets and thought leadership, and illustrate a clear path to broader leadership by mentoring peers and modeling the autonomy and judgment required at this level.
