- • As a Staff Solutions Engineer at Block, Inc., you will be a senior technical leader driving complex partner and merchant integrations for Cash App Afterpay and related commerce experiences, directly impacting how sellers and PSPs adopt Block’s financial ecosystem.
- • Day to day, you will partner with Sales and Account Management to support seller integrations, design and deliver technical solutions including proof-of-concepts and custom reports, act as a trusted technical advisor translating business needs into scalable approaches, collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps, create demos and presentations for executives and engineers, and communicate technical guidance across internal and external audiences.
- • You will join a globally distributed, innovative team at Block that values collaboration and impact, working within Cash App’s ecosystem which serves over 50 million monthly active users and is committed to redefining the world’s relationship with money through accessible financial products.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise technical sales, influence product strategy through partner feedback, lead end-to-end technical projects in multicultural environments, and grow as a trusted advisor shaping the adoption of Block’s developer platforms and financial services.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as partner engineering, solutions architecture, or sales engineering, working with enterprise merchants or global partners.
- • Deep hands-on technical expertise with APIs, including building, debugging, and guiding developers through complex integrations.
- • Prior professional experience with full-stack development and proficiency in at least one programming language.
- • Experience leading technical projects end-to-end in globally distributed, multicultural teams.
- • Willingness to travel for onsite client meetings (10-20%).
