- • As a Staff Solutions Engineer at Block, Inc., you will be a senior technical leader driving complex partner and merchant integrations for Cash App Afterpay and related commerce platforms, directly impacting how merchants and PSPs adopt Block’s ecosystem.
- • You will partner with sales and account management to support seller integrations, design and deliver technical solutions including proof-of-concepts and custom reports, act as a trusted technical advisor translating business needs into scalable integrations, collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps, create compelling demos and presentations for technical and executive audiences, and communicate product features and guidance internally and externally.
- • Block is building the next generation of commerce experiences through Afterpay, Cash App Pay, Clearpay, and Cash App Afterpay, with a mission to redefine the world’s relationship with money by making it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible to over 50 million monthly active customers.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise technical sales, API-driven integration architecture, and cross-functional leadership while shaping the adoption of Block’s financial products and influencing product strategy through direct partner feedback.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as partner engineering, solutions architecture, or sales engineering, working with enterprise merchants or global partners.
- • Deep hands-on technical expertise with APIs, including building, debugging, and guiding developers through complex implementations.
- • Prior professional experience with full-stack development and proficiency in at least one programming language.
- • Experience leading technical projects end-to-end in globally distributed, multicultural teams.
- • Willingness to travel for onsite client meetings (10-20%).
