  • • Become the engine of Malt’s next growth wave as a Sales Development Representative Intern. Embedded in the Mid-Market Sales unit, you will hunt for the industrial PME/ETI and breakout French-Tech scale-ups that will generate tomorrow’s million-euro accounts. Every contact you unearth and every meeting you book directly fuels the pipeline that keeps 70 000+ client companies coming back to the platform.
  • • Own a named list of 150–200 high-value prospects. Research org charts, buying committees, digital-transformation roadmaps and contingent-work spend to score potential Malt fit. Translate findings into battle-cards that help Account Executives open doors with CFOs, HRDs and Innovation VPs.
  • • Design multichannel sequences (cold call, LinkedIn, email, video, voice-note) that cut through the noise and spark curiosity about freelance talent marketplaces. A/B-test subject lines, hooks and CTAs; iterate weekly with the Revenue Operations team to lift reply rates above 15 % and booking rates above 4 %.
  • • Book 25–30 qualified discovery meetings per month. Run the first 10-minute “problem scan” yourself: uncover workforce agility pain-points, current vendor usage, budget cycles and urgency. Pass a crystal-clear MEDDPICC note to the AE so the next call can dive straight into solution value and ROI.
  • • Qualify ruthlessly: politely disqualify prospects with low freelance spend or rigid staffing policies; flag upsell potential inside existing subsidiaries; keep CRM hygiene pristine so forecasts stay reliable. Your data integrity earns you a seat at the monthly pipeline review with the VP Sales.
  • • Collaborate with Marketing to localise ABM campaigns: feed them real-time intel on objection trends, persona language and competitor mentions. Co-host two webinars per quarter that position Malt as the future-of-work thought leader among Ops & Finance directors.
  • • Shadow senior AEs on closing calls, negotiation workshops and QBRs. Complete the internal “Malt Sales Academy” curriculum—SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger and product-deep-dive modules—then present a win/loss analysis to the entire sales floor during your final week.
  • • Contribute to culture: bring energy to daily stand-ups, share prospecting hacks in #sales-blabla, mentor the next intern cohort. High performers are fast-tracked into a full-cycle Account Executive role upon graduation—three of last year’s SDR interns now manage €1 m+ ARR books.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Currently enrolled in a Grande École, business school or university master’s programme graduating in 2026; available full-time from January 2026 for 6 months.
  • • Native or bilingual French speaker with professional English (C1) to collaborate with international teammates and read global sales playbooks.
  • • Previous commercial experience (internship, apprenticeship, student association fundraising, B2B telemarketing) where you exceeded quantitative targets.
  • • Relentless curiosity + grit: you enjoy digging for data, handle rejection without flinching, and iterate messaging until it works.
  • • Organised self-starter comfortable with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Excel and cold-calling 60+ strangers a day; bonus points for knowledge of Outreach, SalesLoft or HubSpot sequences.
