  • • As a Strategic Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and expansion of Vultr's cutting-edge AI infrastructure solutions. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will be entrusted with managing a high-value portfolio of strategic, high-growth customers and prospects. Your mission will be to serve as an indispensable, trusted advisor to senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders within these key accounts. By deeply understanding their unique business objectives and technical challenges, you will guide them in leveraging Vultr's powerful AI cloud platform to accelerate their innovation cycles and efficiently scale their demanding AI workloads.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to own and cultivate deep, enduring relationships with strategic customers. You will be the primary point of contact, fostering strong connections with both executive leadership and technical teams. A significant part of your role will involve accelerating revenue growth by proactively identifying opportunities and expertly guiding customers through the entire sales cycle. This includes everything from initial engagement and understanding their needs to architecting sophisticated solutions and supporting their scale-up efforts.
  • • To excel in this role, you must possess a keen ability to deeply understand customer priorities, meticulously assess their technical requirements, and align them with their overarching business goals. This understanding will enable you to articulate Vultr's unique value proposition with precision and deliver solutions that are precisely tailored to their needs. You will act as a true thought leader, offering invaluable insights into the latest AI and ML trends, essential infrastructure requirements, and effective optimization strategies. Your guidance will empower senior leaders within your accounts to navigate the complex AI landscape and make well-informed, strategic architectural decisions.
  • • Collaboration is key to success at Vultr. You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success. This close collaboration ensures seamless alignment on product capabilities, provides critical feedback for our product roadmap, and guarantees the long-term success and satisfaction of our strategic accounts. Furthermore, you will be expected to maintain exceptional sales process discipline and operational hygiene, meticulously documenting and updating sales activity data in our CRM tools to ensure high accuracy in our monthly MRR forecasts.
  • • An integral aspect of your role will be engaging with and understanding the broader AI partner ecosystem. You will leverage this ecosystem to amplify Vultr's value proposition, demonstrating how we can collaboratively empower founders and C-suite executives to achieve their ambitious goals. This involves understanding how partners can enhance Vultr's offerings and contribute to customer success. You will be instrumental in helping our clients harness the full potential of AI and cloud infrastructure, driving innovation and competitive advantage through Vultr's world-class solutions.
