- • The Strategic Account Director (SAD) serves as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients, ensuring work is strategically on-target, delivered within budget and timelines, while driving revenue generation through effective team leadership and client relationship management.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating and overseeing Precision AQ activities on behalf of clients, managing client communication on strategy and planning, acting as an extension of the client’s team, managing budgets and team efficiency, mentoring and coaching team members, and staying current on industry developments in science, competitors, and regulations.
- • Precision AQ is a part of Precision Medicine Group, a company focused on delivering integrated solutions in medical communications, marketing, and strategy for pharmaceutical and biotech clients, with a strong emphasis on profitability, client advocacy, and business growth.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and medical communications, lead and grow high-value accounts ($1M+), enhance strategic and financial acumen, and build leadership capabilities through mentoring teams and influencing cross-functional collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field; advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) in life sciences or management/marketing/business preferred
- • Minimum of five (5) years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, medical affairs, or medical communications agency experience
- • Proven experience successfully managing and growing $1M+ pharma/healthcare accounts
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PowerPoint design
- • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted strategic/business advisor to clients and lead teams to grow client relationships and business opportunities
- • Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
