- • Strategic Account Executive role focused on driving new business across the largest credit unions in the United States by selling Clutch’s digital lending, account opening, and AI product suite into complex, multi-stakeholder environments where deals range from six to seven figures and have transformational impact on financial inclusion and community banking.
- • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, leveraging consultative selling to build compelling business cases, navigate executive buying committees, and deliver tailored ROI models to VP and C-level decision-makers at credit unions seeking digital transformation.
- • Join a high-performing GTM team of five Strategic AEs, supported by dedicated SDR, Sales Engineering, RevOps, and Marketing, all focused on winning the credit union market through partnership-driven strategies and collaboration with strategic allies like TruStage to create joint value propositions and co-sell opportunities.
- • Backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), operate in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where you will contribute to GTM strategy through market intelligence, competitive insights, and product feedback while helping define the category for credit union digital transformation.
- • Within 3 months: ramp on Clutch’s full product suite (digital lending, account opening, AI), understand value propositions and competitive positioning, develop deep insight into how large credit unions evaluate and implement technology, build a territory plan, begin outbound prospecting into named accounts, and run initial discovery calls and demos alongside Sales Engineering.
- • Within 6 months: own and progress multiple strategic opportunities through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, deliver tailored business cases and ROI models to senior executives, represent Clutch at industry events and credit union league meetings, and collaborate with TruStage and other partners to create joint pipeline and co-sell into shared accounts.
- • Within 9 months: consistently build and maintain a pipeline of 3x+ quota target, close net-new strategic deals with accurate forecasting against quarterly targets, serve as a trusted advisor to senior credit union executives influencing their digital transformation roadmaps, and contribute to GTM strategy through market intelligence, competitive insights, and product feedback.
- • Bring 7+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into enterprise or strategic accounts with deal sizes of $200K+, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex consultative environments, and experience selling to senior executives (VP, SVP, C-suite) while navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- • Demonstrate strong discovery, business case development, and negotiation skills—selling on value, not price—comfort with longer sales cycles (6–9 months) requiring strategic account planning, multi-threading, and executive alignment, and preferably experience in financial services, fintech, or credit union/banking technology.
- • Familiarity with MEDDPIC, Sandler, or similar enterprise sales methodologies, excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, high ownership mindset with urgency and accountability in a fast-paced, high-growth setting, and willingness to travel 35–45% for prospect meetings, industry events, and partner road trips.
- • Proficient with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and innovation, with flexibility and adaptability expected as the role may evolve with business needs.
