📋 Description

• Strategic Account Executive role at Celonis SE, a global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, driving revenue growth and long-term customer relationships in Japan’s enterprise market.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing strategic accounts, engaging C-level executives, delivering comprehensive solutions across Celonis’ suite (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Sustainability, etc.), closing large deals (six-figure+), leading virtual teams, and collaborating with partners like Big4 consulting firms and SaaS providers.
• The role sits within Celonis’ Enterprise Sales team in Tokyo, reporting to the Japan Sales Director, operating in a fast-growing, high-impact environment focused on curiosity, drive, and making measurable business impact.
• The person will develop expertise in enterprise value selling, complex stakeholder management, partner ecosystem collaboration, and leveraging Celonis’ Process Intelligence Graph to unlock business value — advancing their career in strategic sales while contributing to global productivity and sustainability goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Native Japanese language proficiency for seamless customer negotiation and proposal delivery.
• Proven experience selling enterprise software or IT solutions to large enterprises, with direct C-level (CIO, CFO, CPO, COO) engagement and negotiation.
• Demonstrated success in SaaS or software value selling, managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with partners such as consulting firms (Big4), SIers, and tech partners to drive joint business initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a growth mindset, positivity, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills.
