- • The Strategic Account Executive role at Commvault is critical for driving revenue growth by selling complex data protection and cyber resilience solutions to enterprise customers in the Ohio Valley region. This position directly contributes to the company’s mission of helping organizations recover from cyberattacks and maintain data safety through its AI-powered platform.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas, developing strategic account plans for new and existing customers, creating and executing sales campaigns, coordinating cross-functional teams (including sales engineers, professional services, finance, and legal), managing matrixed sales efforts, building CXO-level business cases with ROI and TCO analysis, negotiating and closing deals, and maintaining deep industry and product knowledge.
- • Commvault is a NASDAQ-listed leader in cyber resilience with over 25 years of experience, serving more than 100,000 organizations globally. The company combines data protection, security, intelligence, and recovery in a unified platform, offering the lowest total cost of ownership. The Ohio Valley-based AE will operate as a field sales representative, engaging in face-to-face interactions with customers and partners to drive long-term account growth and satisfaction.
- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced enterprise sales expertise, master complex solution selling, refine strategic account planning and executive engagement skills, gain deep domain knowledge in data management and storage industries, and build a track record of closing six- and seven-figure deals while leading integrated sales teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and proven sales experience required
- • Demonstrated success in enterprise software sales, including selling six- and seven-figure deals and managing integrated selling teams
- • Minimum of two years of success in identifying, building relationships, and selling directly or with partners
- • Background in IT infrastructure; SaaS experience preferred
- • Excellent communication, persuasive, and listening skills
- • Deep understanding of the storage or data management industry, including products, competitors, trends, and marketplace dynamics
