  • • The Strategic Account Executive - Oil & Gas is responsible for achieving quota by selling Commvault’s cyber resilience solutions into a defined account list within the Oil & Gas vertical, including current customers and high-value prospects. This role is critical to driving revenue growth in a specialized industry where data protection and recovery are mission-critical.
  • • Day to day, the AE will engage in face-to-face sales, develop and implement strategic account plans for one- and three-year periods, create and execute sales campaigns, coordinate cross-functional resources (including support, service, finance, legal, and partners), manage a matrixed sales team, build CXO-level business cases with ROI and TCO analysis, prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate and close complex deals, and maintain deep industry and product knowledge.

  • • In this role, the AE will develop expertise in enterprise software sales within the Oil & Gas sector, master complex deal cycles involving six- and seven-figure transactions, hone strategic account planning and executive engagement skills, and gain deep exposure to cyber resilience solutions—positioning them for advancement into senior sales leadership or specialized vertical roles.
