  • • Drive consultative and solution-based sales strategies to generate pipeline, secure new logos, and expand existing accounts among Global 2000 enterprises within the West Coast region.
  • • Lead end-to-end discovery processes to collect Business Value Assessment (BVA) inputs and co-own the development of BVA presentations with sales engineering teams.
  • • Present BVA findings and business outcomes directly to CTOs, data leaders, and other C-suite executives to align Monte Carlo’s platform with enterprise AI reliability needs.
  • • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts including Fortune 500 companies such as Pepsi, Fox, General Mills, and Amgen.
  • • Leverage account-based marketing (ABM) support to identify and prospect into target accounts focused on data and AI infrastructure.
  • • Research, qualify, and generate new business opportunities to build and manage a robust, scalable sales funnel with clear stage progression and forecast accuracy.
  • • Close six and seven-figure software cloud deals using consultative selling techniques, with a focus on complex technical products serving data engineering and AI teams.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering, marketing, product, and partnerships teams to align messaging, overcome objections, and accelerate deal velocity.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the data observability and AI reliability space, translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients.
  • • Utilize proven sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Challenger framework to structure deals, navigate complex buying committees, and overcome competitive displacement.
  • • Operate in a fast-growing, high-ambiguity sales environment where processes are evolving, requiring agility, initiative, and the ability to self-organize.
  • • Scale win patterns from key accounts across verticals to inform broader market expansion and contribute insights back to product and marketing teams.
  • • Master Monte Carlo’s consumption-based pricing model and articulate its value proposition to customers transitioning from traditional licensing models.
  • • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closure, ensuring seamless handoff to customer success for onboarding.
  • • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and forecasting discipline to support company-wide revenue planning and operational visibility.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of SaaS sales experience with 5+ years in closed-won sales roles
  • • Proven track record of closing six and seven-figure software cloud deals with Global 2000 companies
  • • Experience selling complex, technical products to data engineering and AI teams
  • • Demonstrated success in early-stage or highly ambiguous sales environments
  • • Experience selling to C-suite executives with strong listening and consultation skills
  • • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
