- • As the inaugural Strategic Account Manager for AirOps' groundbreaking fully managed Offsite service, you will be at the forefront of a revolutionary approach to AI-driven content visibility. This is a unique opportunity to not only manage high-value client relationships but also to actively shape the future direction and success of a critical new product line within a hyper-growth company. AirOps is redefining how brands get found in the age of AI search, and this role is central to that mission, focusing on securing the third-party mentions that are paramount for AI search engine optimization (AEO) and overall digital presence.
- • You will serve as the primary strategic partner and day-to-day point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of high-value clients. Your core responsibility will be to translate their overarching business objectives into a highly effective and measurable offsite program. This involves a comprehensive understanding of publisher strategy, meticulous placement execution, insightful performance reporting, and continuous, data-driven optimization. This is a role that demands a high degree of ownership, blending strategic foresight with hands-on execution to deliver tangible, impactful outcomes for the brands we serve.
- • Your day-to-day will involve owning the entire client lifecycle for your portfolio of mid-market to enterprise Offsite accounts. This encompasses everything from initial onboarding and strategic planning to the meticulous execution of campaigns, comprehensive performance analysis, and ultimately, securing renewals. You will be the trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of the AI discovery landscape.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to develop a profound understanding of each client's unique competitive environment, their target subject matter, and their specific AI search visibility goals. This deep insight will enable you to craft and implement a bespoke publisher and placement strategy that directly addresses their needs and maximizes their impact.
- • You will lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition that accelerates their time to value. This will require close collaboration with our solution architect resources across the organization to facilitate account setup and ongoing maintenance, ensuring a robust foundation for success.
- • Internally, you will act as a central coordinator, liaising with our publisher outreach, content creation, and operations teams. Your role is to ensure that all offsite placements are delivered punctually and meet the highest standards of quality and strategic alignment.
- • You will be responsible for conducting regular, bi-weekly client check-ins and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). In these sessions, you will clearly and confidently communicate program progress, surface critical insights derived from performance data, and present actionable recommendations that drive client success.
- • A significant part of your contribution will be monitoring and reporting on campaign performance. This includes tracking key metrics such as mention rate lift, share of voice, AI visibility gains, and publisher return on investment (ROI). Your ability to synthesize complex data into a clear, compelling narrative will be crucial for demonstrating value and guiding future strategy.
- • You will proactively identify opportunities for account expansion, exploring new topics, emerging verticals, and increased scope of services that can further benefit our clients and deepen our partnership.
- • Critically, you will serve as the internal voice of the customer. Your feedback to the product team regarding product gaps, potential workflow improvements, and emerging market trends will be invaluable in shaping the future of AirOps' offerings.
- • You will leverage the AirOps platform's advanced insights and analytics to inform client decisions, provide strategic guidance, and unequivocally demonstrate the tangible value delivered by the Offsite program.
- • Furthermore, you will play an instrumental role in defining and refining the operational playbooks, onboarding workflows, and reporting templates that are essential for scaling the Offsite service as an AI-enabled agency solution, ensuring efficiency and consistency as we grow.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in account management, client services, or customer success, preferably within a digital marketing agency, SEO/PR firm, or a high-growth SaaS company.
- • Demonstrated comfort and strategic understanding of AI Search, SEO, content marketing, and digital PR concepts, enabling confident discussions about AI search visibility and its impact on SEO/AEO.
- • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to build trust with clients, maintain proactive outreach, and translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
- • Strong operational acumen, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently, keep projects on track, and ensure accountability for timelines and quality.
- • Analytical proficiency to delve into performance data, identify key trends, and formulate clear, data-driven recommendations.
- • An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and a desire to actively shape processes and playbooks in a fast-moving environment.
