  • • As a Strategic Core Account Executive at Databricks, you will drive revenue growth and expand the Databricks footprint within Fortune 500 retail enterprises by building executive relationships and leading complex, value-based sales cycles. This role is critical to accelerating customer adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform in high-impact use cases across analytics, AI, and machine learning.
  • • You will manage a strategic enterprise account in the Retail vertical, reporting to the Director of Enterprise Sales, and be responsible for exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting in Salesforce. Your day-to-day includes engaging CIOs, IT and LOB executives, program managers, and system integrators to align Databricks’ solutions with customer business objectives and technical roadmaps.
  • • You will expand Databricks’ presence into new business units and use cases by identifying opportunities, prioritizing resources, and co-creating success plans with both internal stakeholders and external partners. This involves leveraging a solution-based selling approach to articulate how the Databricks platform—powered by Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, and MLflow—delivers measurable value in areas such as real-time analytics, customer 360, and AI-driven personalization.
  • • You will build and execute go-to-market campaigns that compress decision cycles, drive value-based growth, and position Databricks as a strategic partner in the customer’s data and AI transformation journey. This includes promoting the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and guiding customers toward unified data, analytics, and AI workloads on a single, collaborative environment.
  • • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including solutions engineering, customer success, and marketing to ensure seamless execution and long-term account health. Success in this role requires a hunter mindset, deep technical curiosity, and the ability to translate complex data and AI capabilities into clear business outcomes that resonate with senior stakeholders.
  • • You will gain deep expertise in enterprise sales motion within the data and AI space, refine your ability to navigate complex organizational structures, and develop a proven track record of selling innovation in early-adopter, high-growth environments. 🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of Enterprise Sales experience exceeding quotas in large, complex accounts
  • • Proven success selling Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, or data and AI solutions with a consumption-based selling motion
  • • Prior experience building and maintaining relationships with CIOs, IT executives, LOB leaders, and program managers
  • • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • • Demonstrated ability to simplify technical capabilities into clear, value-based business benefits
  • • Experience thriving in early-stage or high-growth companies with limited oversight
