- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning forecasting and modelling, building dashboards, supporting budgeting and long-range planning, refining management reporting, tracking financial performance, investigating variances, supporting strategic projects like M&A and capital raises, improving FP&A processes, enhancing reporting automation and data governance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- • Neara is a fast-growing technology company using AI and machine learning to create engineering-grade digital twins of power grids across four continents, empowering utilities to mitigate risks, optimize investments, and build a more resilient energy future through a culture of ownership, innovation, and real-world impact.
- • The role offers early ownership, exposure to SaaS economics, capital planning, fundraising, and M&A, with opportunities to grow into a trusted commercial advisor, lead M&A analysis, and directly influence the company’s strategic direction and growth trajectory.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, strategic finance, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment
- • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- • High attention to detail while maintaining a broader commercial perspective
