• • The Strategic Finance Generalist at OpenAI plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s long-term financial strategy by providing data-driven insights that support high-impact decisions across board engagements, M&A, capital markets, and commercial transactions.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting corporate finance processes such as Board reporting and long-term forecasting, conducting strategic project work involving transactions and market research, creating high-quality financial presentations, distilling business and cost drivers into key metrics, identifying P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet opportunities, staying current on financial benchmarks, and collaborating with Accounting and Corporate Finance teams to refine reporting and operations.
• • The Strategic Finance team partners across the business to allocate resources for maximum impact, operating within OpenAI’s mission to ensure artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity through safe and responsible deployment.
