- • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting efforts to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with organizational goals across Notable.
- • Own the development and presentation of monthly financial reporting packages, quarterly board materials, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- • Collaborate with the CEO and Head of Finance on future fundraising initiatives and potential M&A activities to support company growth.
- • Partner with department heads to understand their financial needs, provide actionable insights, and support decision-making that drives financial performance.
- • Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to analyze sales pipeline data, historical win rates, and customer pricing models to enable data-driven strategic decisions.
- • Lead the enhancement and optimization of KPI dashboards to ensure leaders across the organization can effectively monitor and act on critical performance metrics.
- • Build and scale strategic finance processes, including automation and system improvements, to increase efficiency and support the company’s rapid growth.
- • Leverage AI tools to automate financial workflows, reduce manual effort, and amplify the impact of financial analysis across the organization.
- • Conduct deep-dive data analysis to synthesize complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
- • Apply strategic thinking to identify financial risks and opportunities, proactively shaping business direction through data-backed insights.
- • Maintain expertise in GAAP financial statements and develop robust financial models using Excel or Google Sheets to support forecasting, scenario planning, and investment analysis.
- • Demonstrate strong collaborative communication skills when engaging with executives, department leads, and cross-functional teams.
- • Act as a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple priorities with agility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- • Commit to building automated, scalable financial operations that reduce friction and enable faster, more informed decision-making.
- • Participate in company-wide events and onsite gatherings, with Bay Area-based employees required to work in the San Mateo office at least three days per week.
- • Remote employees are expected to travel occasionally to headquarters for key meetings and team gatherings.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field
- • 4–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in high-growth organizations, investment banks, or consulting firms
- • Expertise in developing and maintaining financial models in Excel or Google Sheets, with a strong understanding of GAAP financial statements
- • Experience with budgeting and planning software implementation or management (preferred)
- • Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
- • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to automate financial workflows and scale impact
