• This is a pivotal Strategic Partnership Lead role, focused on managing and growing our most significant alliance in the EMEA region: Snowflake. As Snowflake is the primary data warehouse platform for many of our customers, this partnership is critical for driving customer success and unlocking the full potential of their data and AI initiatives.
• Your core responsibility will be to serve as the primary point of contact for Snowflake across EMEA, fostering a strong, collaborative relationship. You will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive strategy and execution plan for the region, with the ultimate goal of generating substantial new pipeline, driving joint capability development, and maximizing closed-won Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
• A key aspect of this role involves educating and onboarding new Snowflake teams onto our joint value proposition. This includes providing in-depth knowledge of dbt Labs' product offerings, partnership tools, and established processes, while also guiding teams towards self-service resources where appropriate to ensure efficient adoption and engagement.
• You will be responsible for maintaining consistent and scalable communication channels with Snowflake teams, their customer base, and the broader partner community within the EMEA geography. This will involve orchestrating various engagement activities such as hands-on labs, informative newsletters, impactful webinars, and targeted email campaigns to foster continuous engagement and awareness.
• Developing and maintaining detailed Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and a robust business plan is essential. This plan must demonstrate strong executive sponsorship and alignment from both dbt Labs and Snowflake leadership, ensuring strategic direction and accountability.
• You will play an active role in continuously improving our overall partner program. This involves gathering insights from the field, identifying areas for enhancement, and providing actionable suggestions to our Head of Operations and Regional VP to refine our go-to-market strategies and partner engagement models.
• This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence dbt Labs' growth trajectory in EMEA by cultivating a high-impact partnership with Snowflake. You will be working within a dynamic Partner Management team, collaborating with counterparts managing other technical alliances and system integrators, and will be supported by dedicated Partner Solutions Architecture and Partner Marketing teams.
• Success in this role means driving significant partner-sourced and influenced ARR for the EMEA business, solidifying dbt Labs' position as a critical component of the modern data stack and the data control plane for enterprise teams. You will be a key player in enabling customers to transform their data faster, more reliably, and at scale, especially as AI continues to reshape the data landscape.
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the data ecosystem, a proven track record in building and scaling strategic partnerships, and an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. 🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced software.
• Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt and/or Snowflake.
• Strong sales and/or partnership experience in building a sourcing channel.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and evidence of driving business outcomes from this.
• Proven ability to build and manage strategic alliances and drive joint GTM initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at executive levels.
