  • • The Partnerships team at HX is a vital growth engine, instrumental in shaping our engagement with consulting firms, technology providers, and channel partners across the insurance ecosystem. This team is responsible for unlocking new markets, accelerating pipeline generation, and increasing revenue through strategic collaborations. As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in this dynamic team, working closely with the Director of Partnerships and collaborating across sales, customer success, delivery, ecosystem, product, and marketing departments to translate partner relationships into tangible business outcomes. The team thrives on collaboration, a commercial mindset, and a data-driven approach, with a strong emphasis on clear priorities, measurable results, and fostering long-term partner health.
  • • In this role, you will own a portfolio of high-value partners and be responsible for developing new strategic relationships that align with HX's ambitious growth strategy. Your core responsibilities will include designing and executing joint go-to-market plans, ensuring partners are seamlessly integrated into our sales motions and customer lifecycle, and continuously refining the operating model to enable scalable partnership growth. You will be instrumental in driving measurable pipeline and revenue contributions against quarterly and annual targets by managing and nurturing a select group of high-impact consulting, technology, and channel partners.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve identifying, qualifying, and activating new strategic partners that align with HX's global go-to-market strategy. You will be expected to move prospects from initial conversation to a productive co-selling motion within defined timelines. Building and running comprehensive joint business plans with partners will be crucial. This includes detailed account mapping, developing compelling joint value propositions, establishing robust enablement and certification programs, and executing targeted campaigns and events designed to generate qualified opportunities and accelerate deal closures.
  • • You will collaborate closely on a day-to-day basis with our Sales, Field Engineering, Customer Success, Delivery, and Ecosystem teams. Your efforts will focus on ensuring the right partners are strategically attached to priority opportunities and existing customer accounts. This integration aims to improve win rates, expand our market footprint, and mitigate churn risk, thereby enhancing overall customer value and retention.
  • • Establishing a predictable operating rhythm is essential for monitoring partner health. You will achieve this through key performance indicators (KPIs), regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and pipeline reviews. This proactive approach will allow you to identify risks early and drive actionable plans to strengthen mutual value and ensure partner success. Furthermore, you will lead cross-functional alignment for your assigned partners by iterating on playbooks, processes, and documentation. This continuous improvement will ensure that both internal teams and external partners can collaborate effectively as the partnerships function scales, creating a robust and efficient ecosystem.
  • • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of strategic partnerships within a SaaS, technology, or B2B environment, with demonstrable contributions to qualified pipeline and closed revenue. Experience in building and executing joint go-to-market plans, including account mapping, co-selling, enablement, and marketing/event activities that yielded measurable outcomes, is essential. You should be adept at working closely with sales teams to attach partners to priority opportunities and support deals throughout their lifecycle to enhance win rates or accelerate deal velocity. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills are required, with experience working with teams such as customer success, delivery, field engineering, ecosystem, or product to ensure partner motions are effective in practice. Proficiency in using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools to track partner-sourced and influenced opportunities and communicate impact clearly to senior stakeholders is also a key requirement. Proactive problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving partnership challenges like low engagement or misaligned expectations by bringing together the right internal and external stakeholders, will be critical for success in this role.
