Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Lead end-to-end execution of strategic, long-term healthcare projects that directly impact customer experience and Metriport’s position in the U.S. healthcare interoperability landscape.
  • • Navigate complex legal, technical, and compliance frameworks governing health data exchange across national and state regulatory environments.
  • • Identify and drive internal initiatives that require partnership efforts, translating organizational needs into actionable strategic projects.
  • • Ruthlessly prioritize tasks to ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact activities aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • • Build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders by understanding their incentives and aligning Metriport’s objectives within existing constraints.
  • • Anticipate future blockers five steps ahead and proactively design solutions to prevent delays or compliance issues before they arise.
  • • Solve complex problems with multiple constraints using sound judgment, data-informed narratives, and structured risk assessment.
  • • Apply deep product knowledge—both technical and non-technical—to define requirements and considerations for strategic projects involving Metriport’s data intelligence platform.
  • • Maintain exceptional organization to turn ambiguity into clarity, ensuring internal and external stakeholders remain on schedule with zero tolerance for missed deadlines.
  • • Operate with high autonomy: take ambiguous objectives, break them into executable steps, identify the most efficient path forward, and deliver results without oversight.
  • • Engage effectively with finance, data, compliance, and engineering teams by asking thoughtful, informed questions and escalating appropriately when needed.
  • • Work from Metriport’s South Beach, San Francisco office; relocation to San Francisco is required for this role.
  • • Embody the Metriport mindset: low ego, high ownership, and a bias for action—ask "Why can’t this be done in 3 days?" instead of accepting longer timelines.
  • • Ensure all projects contribute to measurable outcomes that enable healthcare customers to deliver better patient care.
  • • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and legal teams to align strategic initiatives with product capabilities and regulatory realities.
  • • Maintain awareness of evolving healthcare IT standards and interoperability protocols to position Metriport as a forward-thinking industry leader.
  • • Own accountability for project outcomes, delivering results that directly support Metriport’s multi-million ARR growth and 100+ customer base.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of project management, business operations, or MBB consulting experience
  • • 3+ years of experience within healthcare interoperability
  • • Proven ability to operate in regulated industries with significant governance requirements
  • • Strong organizational skills with zero tolerance for missed deadlines
  • • High autonomy: ability to take ambiguous objectives and execute independently
  • • Familiarity with finance, data, compliance, and engineering concepts to ask informed questions and engage stakeholders
  • • Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate to work from the South Beach office
