📋 Description
- • The Strategic Sourcing Analyst – SG&A & IT supports the development and execution of global sourcing strategies across indirect and SG&A categories, with a heavy focus on Information Technology (IT), enabling cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk mitigation for a global Clinical Research Organization (CRO).
- • Day to day, the role involves analyzing spend data across IT and SG&A categories, leading end-to-end sourcing activities (RFx development, supplier evaluations, negotiations), supporting contract lifecycle management, and partnering with stakeholders in IT, Finance, HR, Legal, and Clinical Operations to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- • Worldwide Clinical Trials is a global midsize CRO with over 3,500+ experts dedicated to improving lives through innovative clinical research, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment where employees thrive by being themselves.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in global indirect sourcing, IT category management, and contract compliance while building cross-functional influence and driving measurable cost savings and supplier rationalization initiatives across a complex, regulated, matrixed environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management with indirect and SG&A categories and IT spend categories
- • Strong understanding and knowledge of IT sourcing models (SaaS, cloud, managed services, software licensing) is a must
- • Experience supporting or leading RFx events and analyzing supplier proposals
- • Demonstrated experience supporting global or multi-region sourcing initiatives
- • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel required
