- • Secure third-party vendors for commodities and services supporting global clinical trials and corporate business objectives.
- • Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies for assigned product and service categories.
- • Generate and manage RF(x) documents for sourced commodities as applicable.
- • Analyze market data and trends to inform sourcing decisions and optimize vendor selection.
- • Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with approved third-party vendors globally.
- • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand and align procurement needs with operational requirements.
- • Build and nurture Preferred Provider relationships through strategic sourcing processes.
- • Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to the highest ethical standards and company conduct policies.
- • Utilize MS Office proficiency to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for procurement activities.
- • Support end-to-end procurement processes from needs identification through contract execution and vendor performance monitoring.
- • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and strategic planning to identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels within a global, cross-functional environment.
- • Manage multiple priorities under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy in high-volume procurement tasks.
- • Travel up to 10% may be required to support vendor engagements or internal stakeholder meetings.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry
- • 2–5 years of sourcing or category management experience or similar role
- • Proficiency in MS Office
- • Strong project management and leadership skills
- • Understanding of data analysis and market research
